Carbon block has the properties of superior electric and thermal conductivity; better chemical stability; better bulk stability, as well as high strength in high temperature. It is widely used as refractory materials in the blast furnace, the ferroalloy furnace, the calcium carbide furnace, and the aluminum electrolyte tank. The main products include normal cathode blocks for the submerged-arc furnace and the blast furnace.
